These terms are a plain-language agreement for using First Call during its early access period. They are not legal advice and we expect to refine them with counsel.
1. What First Call is
First Call is a practice tool for firefighter oral-board interviews. It provides practice questions and AI-generated feedback to help you prepare. It is a study aid, not a guarantee of any hiring outcome.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use First Call.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information at signup.
4. Acceptable use
Use First Call for your own interview preparation. Don’t misuse the service — no attempting to breach security, disrupt the service, access other users’ data, or use it unlawfully.
5. Your content
Your recordings and answers are yours. By using the service you allow us to process them to provide feedback, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don’t claim ownership of your answers.
6. AI-generated feedback
Feedback is generated by automated systems and is for practice purposes only. It may contain errors and is not professional, hiring, or career advice. Real oral boards are scored by people; our feedback is an aid, not a prediction.
7. Availability
First Call is in early access and provided “as is.” We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and the service may have interruptions. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Call is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Call and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we’ll update this page and its “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
